Daw Kyin Po
CEO
Mrs. Daw Kyin Po is part of the second generation of the Maw Shan family business, formerly trading tea directly from Pindaya in southern Shan State to Yangon. In 1985, she expanded Maw Shan from local distribution to retail and wholesale.
Women, owner. Learnt from my father in law, and my father worked together. She is a leader, makes key decisions. Very wise women. Excellent at business. Quick learner, learnt beside her husband’s family (my father, Khin Maung Htun).
Daw Nay Che Myat Htun
Managing Director
Eldest sister of the third generation of Maw Shan family, Mrs. Daw Nay Che Myat Htun manages cash-flow and development of all value chains.
After graduation, she jumped into the family business in 2005. Since then, Maw Shan has become the tea industry market leader in Yangon. Our brand awareness achievements are mostly from her ideas and creativity.
U Khonnaung Latt Htun
Director, Khonnang

The first born son in the Maw Shan family. After graduating in 2009, Mr. U Khonnaung Latt Htun worked as a sales and marketing director in the company. He has supported our retail expansion into groceries, supermarkets, and hypermarkets.
U Lin Pyae Htun
Director, Lin Pyae
(BSc Mathematics)
Mr. U Lin Pyae Htun has been working in the family business since 2011 managing production and international markets. He supports our processing factory in Pindaya, enthusiastically working with local tea and ginger farmers.
In 2018, Maw Shan became the first organic tea exporter to Germany in the whole southern Shan State, thanks to his relationship development with local tea farmers and other suppliers. Power Maw Shan Company became the role model in exporting companies in Pindaya for our transparency, commitment and sustainable business practices.
